You can write another Psalm - either write a personal letters and/or Psalms to God about any of the four topics below – be honest with him as you share things like your failure, His sufficiency, your questions, fears, desires, etc.

Did any of the lessons during this unit mean anything to you? What mattered? Why? If nothing mattered to you, can you explain why you think that’s the case, and is there anything we can do to help you learn in better ways…or ways that matter?

Option #2 - Confession

7 - CONFESSION
David gets caught in sexual sin, and this was really humbling and humiliating. Mr. Scott said in class that if a student is struggling with sexual sin, it is so important to let a parent (and/or trusted Christian adult) know. Why is this? Do you agree? Disagree? Are there any sins we can handle by ourselves? Are there any sins that are easy to confess? Explain.

8 - CONFESSION
A. What sins harm our WCA community? How does sin destroy and bring harm? 
B. What sins do you think we’re most unwilling to admit or even unable to recognize? What would true confession of these sins look like, and what would be the result of genuine confession/repentance in these areas?
C. God used Nathan the prophet to expose David's sin. Do we need to love our neighbors by exposing their sin. Why? Why not? When? When not? For example, if you see the sin of disrespect or gossip or hate or deceit or anger or stealing - do we have a need/obligation/right to talk with our brothers and sisters (or to a different authority) about their sin? If so, how should we actually go about it? Feel free to use other examples - and really, it'd be GREAT to use actual Scripture to back up your ideas.

Option #2 - Gospel Lived

5 – GOSPEL LIVED
If Christians were REALLY going to live out the gospel, what would they do? Christians are called to love others as Christ has loved them. What would/could this idea mean in practical ways. For instance, David as King actually invites Mephibosheth into his home and treats Him as a royal son.

6- GOSPEL LIVED
A. How have you seen the gospel lived out this year (toward you or others)? 
B. What are ways that believers (you specifically or just His people in general) should regularly be giving his grace to others in how they live? What should prompt us to truly live differently? Do we truly live differently, or are we pretty much just like the rest of the world? Explain, using real examples.
C. Consider this famous St. Francis of Assissi quote: “Share the gospel always, and if necessary, use words.” What does this mean? Is it true? False? You can just respond to the quote (explain how/why this quote is great, horrible, inspiring,         confusing, incomplete, etc)?

Option #2 - Gospel Shared

3 - GOSPEL SHARED
Think of someone who needs to hear the good news – write a letter to that person, sharing the gospel. Feel free to include things such as your own failures, why you want them to know God’s salvation, how they might receive the gospel, common misunderstandings of the gospel/good words, etc. Use at least one thing you learned in class. After you post it here, you can consider actually giving him or her this letter. You can also explain here why you think you would share this with them or not.

4 - GOSPEL SHARED
If it’s truly good news, what keeps people (and/or you) from:
a. being amazed by it? 
b. sharing it in words ?– 
c. Living it in actions?
For a, b, and c, feel free to use examples and/or personal stories about these ideas.

Option #2 - Testimony

1) SHARE YOUR TESTIMONY

So maybe your story isn't all that flashy - maybe it seems boring to you - no dramatic miracle; and yet it's good to think about how God has reached out to you and what He has done in your life: your testimony. And remember, your story and your testimony is ongoing. God is still at work. Your testimony can include what He has been doing in your life this week! Our testimony is not a one time event that happened when you were 6 years old. Don't try to impress us - mainly just share why you believe, how you've come to believe, and what God done (and is doing) in your life. What people, places, events, etc. has He used to bring you to Himself? 

2) If you are not a believer, or if you have some serious doubts as to if you are or not, you can share your story too! Share your doubts or your objections. It's so important for us to try to be honest about where/who we are. It can sometimes be VERY difficult for people at Westminster when they are pretty sure they are not "Christians" and yet everyone around them talks about as if they are. Feel free to give us the true story of what it's like to be you - no matter where you are.

Option #1

Writing your letter to God.

TRY SOMETHING DIFFERENT!

Okay, so ideally, we want you to try to do this work for the LORD - it can be more than us just testing your minds for information - it can be about HIM testing your hearts and testing your faith in a very real way.

To that end, we'd love for you to try to be accountable to HIM in this process - more than just to us.

So if you are choosing Option #1 (Trying Something Different), we'd like you to try to write an honest letter to God about what you want to try. Here are some ideas you might write to Him about. You can:

A. Explain to Him why you want to choose this different type of test - and you can even talk with Him about the struggle between doing this for Him and doing this for a grade.

B. Ask Him for specific help to carry out your plan - what things will you need for Him to do/provide in order for your plan to actually work?

C. Share with Him what your actual plan is - submit your plan to Him.

D. Express to Him some fears or hesitations. And/Or explain to Him why you're excited about trying your plan. In any case, just try to write to Him with any other thoughts/feelings about what you're trying.

E. try to be honest about what things do you want Him to do in your heart and life through this - what things do you want Him to change in you. Why do you think this can/might/should be good for you to try.

Hey, all these things above are just some ideas to get you started - but truly, feel free to write to Him in any way you think is honest. Try to write true things to Him about the test you're trying.
